BATBALL Ecosystem

BATBALL Program, we host signature events like the Batball Open, Batball X, and Batball Maxx. These cornerstone tournaments, along with our supported initiatives, are designed to cultivate cricket talent from the grassroots to the professional level as we drive international participation, offer global exposure, and pave the way for sustainable cricket careers, all while promoting the sport's organic growth.

BATBALL OPEN

Batball Open is our foundational tournament, spanning Uganda's five regions: Eastern, Western, Northern, Central, and Nile. Focused on nurturing young talent under 19, the event features a 10-over-a-side round-robin format of Two Days. Each region fields four teams, named after local birds, competing for a chance to advance to the next stage, Batball X. The Batball Open is where future cricket stars begin their journey to the professional level.

BATBALL X

BATBALL X is the next stage of competition following the BATBALL Open, featuring regional teams and one X factor team. Each region fields its top team, competing in two groups of three in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group advance to a SUPER 4 round-robin, with the best two teams progressing to the final. Success in BATBALL X offers players a chance to move up to the final showdown - BATBALL MAXX

BATBALL MAXX

The platform for emerging Cricket talent to play alongside existing Regional talent as well as icons from ICC Full Member and Associate nations. In this franchise-based T20 competition 4 teams stage a competitive, marketable and structured tournament of BATBALL MAXX, ensuring an engaging experience for players, franchises, and fans alike.

Community Impact

BATBALL has been about impacting community from micro to macro levels, reaching far beyond Cricket. Through BATBALL Tournaments and even beyond, we have raised awareness about Gender Based Violence, HIV AIDS, Female Personal Hygiene, Teenage Pregnancies, and made sure we give back to society by having FREE Hypertension and Sugar checkup Camp, Tree Plantation Drive, and donating Cricket equipment so we have fair and equal opportunity for Ugandan youth to compete at domestic and international level.
